What makes the TIL theory important?
The Trauma Inspired Leadership theory (TIL) exposes and explores paradigm shifts as well as de-stigmatizing the “shadow” side of leaders and leadership. TIL also looks at the “being” side of leadership and how metabolizing trauma can positively affect leadership abilities and practices.

Using Grounded Theory, Dr. Sarah M. Adams investigated the possibility of trauma having a positive impact on leadership development.
